Im off to outer space for the weekend :)

No, Im not mad, Im a Brownie Leader, lol.

This weekend we are having our annual brownie holiday and the theme is space.

In the last couple of days i have been doing charts and crafts, today I cut out over 300 circles using my cricut to make solar system mobiles. These will help the girls with their star gazer badge.

Well today we also baked cupcakes to help us celebrate the Royal Wedding.
It was such a lovely wedding and the dress was stunning.

Here are the cupcakes we made(please excuse the flags, DD and DS3 helped me make them and some are upside down)
Here is the tardis I made.  I used the pixel trace feature on MTC.

Family reunion

Well, the holidays are nearly over, but the weather here in the uk is still gorgeous, its been hotter here than spain, greece and Italy.  We got alot of gardening done, we havent finished but it is usable now :)  So the kids have been camping in the garden.

Today is family reunion day, once a year my whole family, decendants of my nan, (my dad's mum) and her brothers and sisters get together for a night.  We got a bit fed up that we only saw each other at weddings and funerals.
But as always there is a slight hiccup.  This year its my lot :(
2 of my kids are poorly, they have a bug :( so we wont be going anywhere :( can you tell i'm sad

Here is the photo of last years reunion

So gonna miss tonight, but will be there in spirit, love all my family to bits xxxxxx

Right now for some craft :)

here are some cards from the last month

sorry about the poor quality pic x
Now for a layout, as i have been talking about family, here is a layout i made as part of my brothers 40th birthday album.  These are lots of old photos i made into collages.

Easter Hols

Well, its that time again........school holidays.

So crafting is gonna be hard to do with all 4 kids at home plus hubby got the week off of work.

Well the week got off to a good start (not), my youngest son has been poorly, with a high temp and bad earache.

Sunday, I managed to get some girly time with my mummy, leaving all the kids at home with hubby. We went to the local car boot sale and I picked up a couple of bargains, one being a pampered chef trolley set.  Just perfect for when I need to be mobile with all of my craft stuff, and it only cost me £8, I am very happy with it.

Then it was off to St Georges Day parade with the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, the sun
was shining and the kids were well behaved and that always makes it a happier experience.

So Monday morning we had a trip to the Doctors and DS3 has an ear infection and is on antibiotics, which have started working and he is well on the road to recovery :)

And so onto Tuesday, no. 2 son went to hoover and my vacuum cleaner died in a plume of smoke :(  Hubby went to mow to lawn to find that the lawn mower did not work and the one we borrowed from my dad didn't either, so we had to go and order a new vacuum cleaner and a new lawnmower, an expense at the moment I could have done without, but if you count the car (from last week) that makes 3 so hopefully that's it for a while. The day wasn't all bad, we treated ourselves and went out to dinner as a family to our local Toby Carvery, always enjoy this, as the food is always very yummy and you can sit in the restaurant and look out at the sea, the beach and the pier :)

Now back to craft, I have managed to make one card this week, form my cousin's birthday

Here are some old layouts from Easter holidays gone by

A double page layout, one of my early efforts and one of the
only layouts I have played with cutting out images from the photos

A busy week

As the title says it has been a busy week.

Well we started the week with Mothers day.  No lay-in for me as we had to be up early, I got breakfast in bed and a couple of nice pressies :)

We had  an 8.45am start to go to son no.3's last soccer match of the season.
Well they won 10-0 and he scored a goal plus the sun came out :)
not a bad start to the week.

We then had a lovely roast dinner cooked by my lovely hubby, and my mum and mum in law came too, I was enjoying my day, hubby went to work everyone went home and then...............the B.T.F.H struck!!!!  (BTFH stands for B**** Troll From Hell, this is my daughter's nickname and believe me when I say she has earnt it)

Well to cut a long story short, she broke my car!!!!!!!!

Somehow she managed to short out the radio and central locking, ggrrrrrrr.

So Monday, I was without a car, as our friendly mechanic sorted it out.
I spent Monday sorting out Rainbows, Brownies and Guides activities for that evening and getting their Easter presents ready as it was their last meeting before easter.

Over the rest of the week, I have had beavers, scouts, son no.2 orthodontist appointment, son no 1 hospital appointment, school parents evenings, footy training, so as you can see not much time to do craft. All I can say is TGIF x

So just to make a change, here are the cards my dd (aka btfh) made for me for mothers day

Now here is my card to my mum

AAArrrrrggghhh.

I got bought a quickutz silhouette electronic cutting machine that would have hopefully given me freedom from PC products,It is an older machine and it should still work but sadly I cannot get it installed to use with my MTC :'(

It will work as a standalone cutter but I will not be able to use all of my MTC or svg files.

I have been trying for 4 days now with little success, I even tried on my sons laptop which is an older one. it works :), then I realise I unistalled MTC when I got my laptop so I still cant use it at the moment :(

Anyway, due to this I havent go any crafting done and I have also neglected the blog (sorry)

Other than that I have been running around the kids as normal, just got some proud mummy bits to get out of the way first.

So, my second eldest son has completed his orthodontic treatment and after 2 1/2 year he has a beautiful smile, one I hope he will use as he was always embarrassed about his teeth and then his braces.

Then, number 3 child and youngest son has been selected to take part in the county schools maths competition :)

Both the two youngest bought home very good school reports, as did the eldest :)

Now the proud mummy bit is out of the way, onto craft.

Here are a couple of cards i made last week.

using papers that came with a magazine,
sentiment from George cartridge and strawberry cut from MTC

Digistamp from sliekje, sentiment from george cartridge
and papers from forever friends and hotp.
Now for a couple of old layouts

The first from dd's first year album

The second is from one of my general family albums and is from a family holiday (c/o the Sun newspaper) in dorset.
