Christmas 2011

As Christmas came I had a photographer take photos of the kids for Christmas Presents,  well here is the result, my babies all growning up far too fast.

We were very busy over the Christmas period, my daughter was appearing in Pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it was a professional production and she loved it.
For any British readers, the panto starred Alison Hammond from 'This Morning' and Nicole Farraday from 'Bad Girls'  :)

Emily was one of the Junior chorus, she had a fantastic time, made lots of good friends  and will cherish those memories for ever. Here are a couple of pictures from her time in panto

Hi everyone,  Im back.......I lost my password (doh) and hadnt got round  to reset it as life has just rushed by........how can i put the last six months into one post??????
Well a lot has happened, one of the major things being that i went back to work, only part time, but it definately makes a difference to my life.  I now work for a nursery that supplies a mobile creche to the local area, mostly at sure start centres :)

The other major thing is that I have turned 40....................and for my birthday, me and hubby went away, yes, all on our own, for the first time, (we have only been together 21 years, lol) thats right no kids or parents...... and he booked it all by himself :) love him so much.

Gotta go now will be back later with another post, promise x

Zach's 12th Birthday with cards and cakes

Yes my baby boy is now 12. Zach is my thoughtful child, he is shy and quiet but has a little bit of a temper ;)  He loves his footy, cars, lego and starwars and he has recently started to develop a love of gardening (lets hope it lasts).

Here are the cards I made him

I spent a whole day baking for his birthday, I made him cupcake and home made Jaffa Cakes.

New school year, beginning of September 2011

So sorry i have been missing in action for the past few weeks, well the summer holidays just whizzed by. Not sure where they went, they just went and before i knew it they were returning to school.

Warning: Proud Mummy Alert

My eldest son Josh got his exam results for his G.C.S.E's.  He recieved 6 A's, 3 B's and 1 C to add to the 1 C he had already gained.  We were camping at the time, so to celebrate we had a campfire.

He has now gone to 6th form college where he went to school.

Zach, my third son has started secondary school.  He had a bit of a wobble the first day but loves it.

Oh and I got myself a job :) just one morning a week, I am helping to look after children in a creche.  At last I am able to use my level 3 qualification :)

Seeing as the summer whizzed by, I have not had time to craft.  In my next post i will have crafted and cooked for Zach's birthday  xx

Summer hols and camping with the family

The summer holidays are here, at last we have some sun, although it is not going to last.

Well we have had our family holiday, camping in Norfolk, right on the edge of the broads.  The weather was not all good but the day we went on the broads was glorious. We hired a boat, which I drove (if that is the right term) most of the time.  It was a lovely family day and the children enjoyed it too.  I have to admit I did take my promarkers away with me and I sat in the tent colouring when the children were busy in the park :)

The holidays also started with our wedding anniversary, we have been married for 18 years.  I dont know where the time has gone, but Lee is still my best friend, soul mate and I love him with all my heart.   Here is the card I made him,  it had to be a quick card as what with all of the end of term stuff and packing to go away, that did not leave me with much time for craft.

Thanks for looking x

Schools out for Summer

After a busy final week of term, school is finally over for another year.

In the last week of term we had sports days, staff vs rounders match, leavers bbq and leavers assembly, so it was kind of hectic, but so worth it :)

Here is a picture of Zach with his year 6 teacher, who I know he will miss

Well I finished all the teachers presents and cards, i did get a little feed back which was all positive :)

Here are the pictures of the finished items
We filled them with selection of chocolate bars (a must for teachers)
 pens, pencils, notepads and tissues

Each had the teachers name added for that personal touch

Each one slightly different

Each one made with love
