Now where were we, oh yes Olympics and Paralympics.
Well living only just over an hour from the Olympic park and seeing everyone getting excited, we decided to try for some last minute tickets for the paralympics.
We were away camping for the Olympics and had not tried for tickets in the draw as they only offered 4 at a time and being a family of 6 plus having gained an extra one as my eldest now has a girlfriend, i decided it wasn't fair for only some of us to go plus the fact they were so expensive.
We managed to get tickets for the Judo event at the Excel Centre. Hubby couldn't come and number 2 son didn't want to come, which was his choice. I must admit I have never been interested in Judo but just to go, to experience the atmosphere and for the kids to say 'I went, I was there' I thought we should take the chance.
That was the right decision :)
We witnessed a British medal and had a lovely day, the games makers were superb, the atmosphere was unrivalled and everyone had a great time.
