Yes my baby boy is now 12. He is my thoughtful child, he is shy and quiet but has a little bit of a temper ;) He loves his footy, cars, lego and starwars and he has recently started to develop a love of gardening (lets hope it lasts).
Here are the cards I made him
I spent a whole day baking for his birthday, I made him cupcake and home made Jaffa Cakes.

New school year, beginning of September 2011
So sorry i have been missing in action for the past few weeks, well the summer holidays just whizzed by. Not sure where they went, they just went and before i knew it they were returning to school.
Warning: Proud Mummy Alert
My eldest son got his exam results for his G.C.S.E's. He recieved 6 A's, 3 B's and 1 C to add to the 1 C he had already gained. We were camping at the time, so to celebrate we had a campfire.
He has now gone to 6th form college where he went to school.
My third son has started secondary school. He had a bit of a wobble the first day but loves it.
Oh and I got myself a job :) just one morning a week, I am helping to look after children in a creche. At last I am able to use my level 3 qualification :)
Seeing as the summer whizzed by, I have not had time to craft. In my next post i will have crafted and cooked for DS3's birthday xx

Summer hols and camping with the family
The summer holidays are here, at last we have some sun, although it is not going to last.
Well we have had our family holiday, camping in Norfolk, right on the edge of the broads. The weather was not all good but the day we went on the broads was glorious. We hired a boat, which I drove (if that is the right term) most of the time. It was a lovely family day and the children enjoyed it too. I have to admit I did take my promarkers away with me and I sat in the tent colouring when the children were busy in the park :)
The holidays also started with our wedding anniversary, we have been married for 18 years. I dont know where the time has gone, but my hubby is still my best friend and soul mate and I love him with all my heart. Here is the card I made him, it had to be a quick card as what with all of the end of term stuff and packing to go away, that did not leave me with much time for craft.
Thanks for looking x

Schools out for Summer
After a busy final week of term, school is finally over for another year.
In the last week of term we had sports days, staff vs rounders match, leavers bbq and leavers assembly, so it was kind of hectic, but so worth it :)
Here is a picture of DS3 with his year 6 teacher, who I know he will miss
Well I finished all the teachers presents and cards, i did get a little feed back which was all positive :)
Here are the pictures of the finished items
Hope you liked what i have made, please leave a comment and follow my blog x

Getting close to the end of term
As we edge closer to the end of the school year, the more things I have to fit in, in the last week or two DS2 just had his prom/party which he went to, that was his last day at lower school and he has now started upper school (a new school campus) in preparation for september and the long haul towards his exams.
DS1 has had his prom. He did look handsome and I am very proud of him.
DS3 has had a taster day at his new school and loved it, although he felt a little lost at first as everyone else had at least one person they knew, but he soon made some new friends :) He has also had his year 6 production. It was called 'School Daze' and was absolutely brilliant. Well Done all involved.
DS3 is the blonde boy in shirt and tie |
And finally my little girl met her new teacher for next year, she seems very happy so lets hope she stays that way.
On to craft, I have 2 teachers presents and 2 teaching assistants presents to make.
Here is a picture of the first one, not quite finished but you get the idea, i will make another one like this and the 2 smaller ones for the TA's.
Plus a card I made for my mother in laws birthday
Thanks for looking x

Time flies
I cant believe we are over half way through the year, where does the time go.
Well I have been busy with the family as per normal and it is set to get even busier in the next couple of weeks as the end of the summer term approaches and my babysitters (my parents) have gone and left me for a week (hope you have a great holiday :)
So I will need to be in 3 places at once some of the time so a lot of planning will be done and hopefully I will not forget to collect any of the kids from various places, lol.
I have managed to fit in some crafting
Here is a card I made for my Uncle's 60th Birthday.
I am very proud to show you my first scrapbooking commission.
I made this album by request of a friend. We have a mutual friend who is moving on to pastures new to the other side of the world. It was a guest book/scrapbook for friends to sign at the leaving party and messages from those who could not attend, then photos can be added to make it a precious keepsake and reminder of all of us left behind here in UK.
Here are just a few pages of the album
Hope you like it :)
Thanks for looking, if you like what you see please follow me :) x

Happy Fathers Day
I would like to wish my dad, my father in law and my hubby a happy fathers day. Hope you all liked your cards.
I have plenty of pics to show you all, after having crafters block for a couple of weeks, necessity meant that i had to get over it whether it came easy or not. Luckily I managed it.
Firstly I needed my Rainbows, Brownies and Guides to make cards, so had to print out some of my digi stamps for them to colour to make their cards. Here are a couple of examples of the cards the guides (aged 10-14) made for their dads/grandads. I think they did a really good job, hope you agree with me.
I would like to thank all of the artists who share their work with everyone, especially Meljens, Nikki at Melonheadz and Angelique at Sliekje Stamps whose digis I love x
Now for all the cards i made or designed for Fathers Day
Lastly there are the cards my kids made (some with my help) for their dad.
He was very spoilt as DD made him 3 cards one at brownies, one at beavers and one at school, the boys had one each.
Thanks for looking, hope to see you again soon x
